Welcome to pySerial's documentation
===================================
This module encapsulates the access for the serial port. It provides backends
for Python_ running on Windows, OSX, Linux, BSD (possibly any POSIX compliant
system) and IronPython. The module named "serial" automatically selects the
appropriate backend.
